When IP Security (IPSec) is being enabled on a Cisco 7507 router running Cisco IOS Release

12.0.11 code, the following messages appear on the console:

A traceback is seen, but the functionality does not seem to be affected.

There is no workaround.

• CSCdr79785

A loss of connectivity occurs on a Cisco 7500 series router running Cisco IOS Release 12.0 S when

the tag-switching ip command is enabled on a router or when tag packets are being switched by

the Interface Processor even when they are expected to be switched by the Route Processor. This

situation occurs only when distributed switching is turned off (the no ip cef distributed global

configuration command or the no ip route-cache distributed interface configuration command is

enabled).

Workaround: Enable distributed switching with the ip cef distributed command if tag switching is

enabled (tag-switching ip) on the router.

• CSCdr81283

Context-based Access Control (CBAC) may cause Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) sessions to

fail in some cases. There is no workaround.

• CSCdr84440

A Cisco router reloads with a bus error at PC 0x60352FFC(pot1e1_safe_start), address 0x0. There

is no workaround.

• CSCdr87348

A Cisco router running Cisco IOS Release 12.0(10) may experience a software-forced reload

without any configuration changes. There is no workaround.

• CSCdr89618

A Cisco Route Switch Processor (RSP2) running RSP Software (RSP-DSV-M), under Cisco IOS

Release 12.0(9) may experience a memory leak in the dead process. This process may hold up to

35M. You can verify this situation by using the show memory dead command. There is no

workaround.

• CSCdr93496

A router using Connectionless Network Service (CLNS) routing on a Bridge Group Virtual

Interface (BVI) may reload after you use the no shutdown interface configuration command on the

BVI. There is no workaround.

• CSCdr93896

A Cisco 12000 series router running Cisco IOS Release 12.0(11)S3 reloads 2 to 3 times per week

with memory corruption. There is no workaround.
