There is no workaround.
• CSCds54938
A Cisco router connected to a server running CiscoSecure 2.431 reloads on a regular 24-to 48-hour
basis because of a bus error at a low address. There is no workaround.
• CSCds59277
The Configuration Extraction Tool (CET) between two Cisco 7206 routers running Cisco IOS
Releases 11.2(19) and 12.0(11) may fail after a few minutes. There is no workaround.
Novell IPX, XNS, and Apollo Domain
• CSCdk75507
Some packets may not arrive at a destination when using Xerox Network Systems (XNS) fast
switching over multiple equal-cost ATM paths. This situation can result in retransmission and
connection timeouts.
Workaround: Decrease the xns maximum-paths command in global configuration mode number
to 1, or disable the xns route-cache command in global configuration mode on all interfaces in all
of the paths.
• CSCdp28700
If you change IPX encapsulation from Service Advertising Protocol (SAP) to Subnetwork Access
Protocol (SNAP) on a dot1q subinterface over Fast Ethernet, you might receive “alignment
correction” messages. There is no workaround.
• CSCdr00809
A Cisco router may reload sporadically when it forwards a Type20 NetBIOS broadcast packet.
There is no workaround.
• CSCdr89399
After upgrading from Cisco IOS Release 11.2(16)P to Cisco IOS Release 12.0(10) Internetwork
Packet Exchange (IPX) routing is unstable and causes connectivity problems and the following
errors may occur:
%DUAL-3-INTERNAL: IPX-EIGRP 1: Internal Error and %SYS-2-MALLOCFAIL: Memory allocation
errors occuring.
There is no workaround.
• CSCds51821
When a Cisco 2500 series router is connected to basic-ni (isdn switch-type basic-ni) in Cisco IOS
Release 12.0 (10) layer 2 flapping occurs. There is no workaround.
