Protocol Translation

A Cisco 4500 series router may have its memory fragmented because of Internetwork Packet
Exchange (IPX). There is no workaround.
• CSCds56020
A Windows PC with ISDN data Terminal Equipment Available (TA) dials into a Cisco
AS5300 series universal access server for the purpose of receiving two ISDN calls for a PPP
Multilink connection. The Cisco AS5300 series universal access server disconnects the first
incoming ISDN call and initiates an outgoing ISDN call as Multi Service (MS) Callback is
negotiated. Even as dialer load-threshold 1 either interface command is configured and the
outgoing ISDN call is overloaded, the Cisco AS5300 series universal access server never initiates
a second outgoing ISDN call. There is no workaround.
• CSCds56024
A Windows PC with ISDN TA dials into an AS5300 with the purpose of receiving two ISDN calls
for a PPP Multilink connection.
The Cisco AS5300 series universal access server disconnects the first incoming ISDN call and
initiates an outgoing ISDN call as MS Callback is negotiated. The Cisco AS5300 series universal
access server also disconnects the second incoming ISDN call, but never initiates a second outgoing
ISDN call even as MS Callback is again negotiated.
There is no known workaround.
• CSCds57363
Customer Queueing is configured on a Cisco router along with Frame Relay traffic shaping. When
HTTP traffic is defined in the queues with custom queueing, the result is the slowing of other traffic.
There is no workaround.
• CSCds59456
Use of the no ipx sap-uses-routing-info command causes a loss of all Service Advertising Protocol
(SAP) information inside a SAP table. A message seen when SAP debugging is enabled will show
that SAP information is “rejected, route xxxx is not in table”.
When the use of route information with service information is disabled, the SAP table will be
ordered only by service hops information in the SAP packet and not by ticks or hops route metric.
Do not disable the use of route information with service information until this is fixed. There is no
workaround.
Protocol Translation

If you have protocol translation on vty and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) proxy,
and you configure IP unnumbered on the virtual template, DHCP fails. If you configure an IP
address on the virtual template, DHCP succeeds. There is no workaround.
