Assemble the mid section onto the base, taking care not to trap internal wire (Fig 3/1). Fill the remaining space in the clean water tank with warm tap water. Replace the measuring cap (Fig 4/5). For best results use a smooth steady motion keeping the nozzle flat against the carpet. Tipping the cleaner and breaking the seal of the nozzle against the carpet will cause the float to rise cutting off suction.

Maintenance Brush removal and replacement NOTE: Crosshead screwdriver required NOTE: The plug must be removed from electrical socket before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.
