Push the extension tube onto the connection nozzle as far as it will go until you hear it click into place. Then fit the floor nozzle. The cleaner will switch itself off automatically on reaching a temperature of 180˚C, in order to prevent over-heating. In this event, please remove the plug from the socket immediately. Allow the cleaner to cool down for 30 minutes before resuming work.
vax.co.uk Power indicator light / On/off switch When the water tank has been filled, insert the plug into the socket. Switch the cleaner on by pressing the on/off switch to on. The power indicator light (red) should then come on, indicating that the cleaner is being supplied with power. ! ! Ready display ! ! ! ! The steam ready light (yellow) will come on, indicating that the steam cleaner is ready to use.
