8.2 Connecting the DSSI Cable
Connect the DSSI cable (BC21M–09) to the DSSI In/Out (Bus 0 or Bus 1)
connector on your system.
1. For the R400X expander, remove the DSSI terminator (12–29258–01)
from the DSSI In/Out (Bus 1) connector, labeled X, on the console
module.

Squeeze the spring clips at the top and bottom of the terminator as you
pull it straight out.
For the B400X expander, remove the DSSI terminator (12–29258–01)
from the DSSI In/Out (Bus 0) connector, which is the lower connector
on the left side of the card cage.
