ASSEMBLY TOOL REQUIRED: PHILLIPS OR FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER 1. Pull cleaning wand to the front of the cleaner and press hose into handle assembly. 4. 2. 3. Insert excess cord into handle of the cleaner by pushing down into lower handle. CAUTION: AVOID PINCHING CORD WHILE INSERTING INTO HANDLE. Align handle onto base of cleaner. TRANSPORTING YOUR CLEANER 5. 1. NOTE: Do not carry vacuum cleaner by the cleaning wand tube.This is not a carry handle.
HOW TO OPERATE STARTING UP 1. 2. Holding the power cord by the plug, pull the cord out completely. Red tag will indicate the end of the cord. Plug into the outlet. BRUSH VACUUMING 3. For easier handling while vacuuming, hook the power cord onto the power cord hook. Switch the upright vacuum cleaner on or off by pressing the on/off switch. NOTE: The brushroll is automatically switched off when it is in the vertical upright position. 1. 2.
HOW TO OPERATE VACUUMING WITH ACCESSORIES NOTE: The two accessory parts may be used on the suction hose and cleaning wand. NOTE: For safety reasons when vacuuming stairs, leave the upright vacuum cleaner on the bottom stair. • Bring the upright vacuum cleaner into its vertical locking position. The brushroll switches off automatically in this position, thus preventing any damage to the carpet while cleaning with hose or tools.
HOW TO OPERATE VACUUMING UPHOLSTERY, FURNITURE, AND CURTAINS 1. 2. Slide the hose into the cleaning wand until locking mechanism engages. 3. Use the cleaning wand as an extension for long reaches. After vacuuming, slide the suction hose back into the cleaning wand while holding the hose release button. AFTER USE 1. Switch off the upright vacuum cleaner and unplug the power cord from the wall socket. 2. Pressing the button for automatic cord rewind draws in the power cord automatically.
DIRT CONTAINER AND FILTER DIRT CONTAINER WARNING: MAKE SURE VACUUM HAS BEEN SWITCHED OFF AND UNPLUGGED BEFORE REMOVING DIRT CONTAINER. NOTE: For best results, empty the dirt container before dirt reaches the maximum fill line labeled on the dirt container. NOTE: If necessary, the dust compartment can be cleaned with a dry dust cloth/dust brush. REMOVAL EMPTY DIRT CONTAINER 2a. 2. 1. Push down on carry handle and pull dirt container away from unit. 3.
DIRT CONTAINER AND FILTER CLEANING YOUR LIFETIME HEPA FILTER (CONTINUED) 3. 4. Twist filter handle to the left and pull out of lid. 5. Hold filter under running water to wash. Ring excess water out of filter. Allow filter to dry for at least 24 hours. REPLACE PLEATED FILTER REPLACE FOAM FILTER 1. 2. Place filter under water to clean. Make sure filter is completely dry before returning to cleaner. 3. 3a. NOTE: Let filter dry for at least 24 hours before placing back in cleaner.
DIRT CONTAINER AND FILTER CLEANING THE EXHAUST FILTER 1. 2a. 2. Loosen the exhaust grille by pressing the locking tab, and remove it. 3. Remove the exhaust filter and shake it clean. REPLACE THE EXHAUST FILTER 1a. 1. The exhaust filter that comes with this unit is a lifetime filter and can be washed. Make sure filter is completely dry before returning to cleaner. REPLACE THE DIRT CONTAINER 1. NOTE: Let filter dry for at least 24 hours before placing back in cleaner.
CHANGING THE LIGHT BULB 1. 2. Make sure vacuum has been switched off and unplugged before changing light bulb. Also, allow the light bulb to cool. Remove the two screws and remove the light cover. Remove the burned out light bulb and pull it from the socket. 3. 4. Insert the new bulb. GENERAL MAINTENANCE WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, UNPLUG CLEANER BEFORE REMOVING OR REPLACING LIGHTBULB. NOTE: This cleaner uses a common automotive lamp #906, 13.0 volts.

DÉMARRAGE 1. 2. FONCTIONNEMENT En tenant le cordon d'alimentation par la prise, tirez-le complètement. L’étiquette rouge indique l’extrémité du cordon. Branchez dans la prise. NETTOYAGE AVEC L’ASPIRATEUR-BROSSE 3. Pour pouvoir manier plus facilement l’aspirateur durant le nettoyage, accrochez le cordon d’alimentation au crochet prévu à cet effet. REMARQUE : Le rouleau-brosse s’arrête automatiquement lorsqu’il est en position verticale. 1.
NETTOYAGE AVEC LES ACCESSOIRES REMARQUE : Les deux accessoires peuvent être utilisés sur le tuyau d’aspiration et le tube de nettoyage. REMARQUE : Par mesure de sécurité, lorsque vous nettoyez dans un escalier, laissez l’aspirateur vertical sur la première marche. • Mettez l’aspirateur vertical en position de verrouillage, verticale. Le rouleau-brosse s’arrête automatiquement dans cette position, évitant ainsi que la moquette soit abîmée durant le nettoyage avec le tuyau ou les accessoires.

HERRAMIENTA NECESARIA: DESTORNILLADOR PHILLIPS O PLANO 1. 2. Tire de la lanza de limpieza hacia el frente de la aspiradora y haga presión en la manguera para colocarla en el conjunto del asa. CÓMO ENSAMBLAR 4. 3. Inserte el cordón sobrante en el asa de la aspiradora empujándolo en el asa inferior. PRECAUCIÓN: EVITE PELLIZCAR EL CORDÓN ELÉCTRICO CUANDO LO INSERTE EN EL ASA. PUESTA EN MARCHA 1. 2. Tire del cordón hasta que haya salido por completo mientras lo sostiene del enchufe. La etiqueta roja indica el fin del cordón. Conéctelo en la toma de corriente. 3. Para un mejor manejo mientras está aspirando, enganche el cordón eléctrico en su gancho. Encienda o apague la aspiradora oprimiendo el botón de encendido/ apagado. ASPIRADO CON ACCESORIOS NOTA: Los dos accesorios pueden usarse en la manguera de succión y en la lanza de limpieza.
