Installation Steps

Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box

2. Thread two mounting screws to the mounting strap, then

secure them with two lock nuts. Adjust the length of the screws

if necessary.

3. Attach the mounting strap to outlet box by using two

assembly screws.

4. Thread the fixture wire through the canopy, then secure

the upper rod to the canopy with the set nipple.

5. Pull out the source wires from the outlex box. Make wire

connections using wire connectors as follows:

---Connect the smooth-coated (Marked) from the

fixture to the black wire from the power source.

---Connect the ribbed-coated wire (Unmarked) from

the fixture to the white wire from the power source.

---Attach the fixture grounding wire (usually green insulation

or bare wire) to the mounting strap with the green

grounding screw, and then connect it to the house

grounding wire with the wire connector.

Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.

6. Attach the canopy to the mounting strap by inserting the

mounting screws, then secure it with two ball nuts.
