ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES: 1. Before installing, consult local electrical codes for wiring and grounding requirements.

2. READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

WARNING:

TO AVOID RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, BE SURE TO SHUT OFF

POWER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING THIS FIXTURE.

1. Thread two fixture mounting screws (D) to the mounting strap (A),

then secure them with two lock nuts (F).

2. Ajust the length of cord with strain relief to achieve the desired height.

3. Depending on the desired height of light fixture, you may need to cut the excess

wire. You will need at least 9 inches of wire to work with. Prepare wire by stripping

3/8 in of insulation from wire ends using wire strippers (not included).

4. Attach the mounting strap (A) to outlet box by using two mounting screws (C).

5. --- Connect the L wire from the fixture to the black wire from the power source.

--- Connect the N wire from the fixture to the white wire from the power source.

--- Connect the BARE/GREEN ground wire from outlet box to BARE wire from

fixture using wire connector.

--- Connect put the wires back into the outlet box.

6. Attach the fixture canopy to the mounting strap (A) by inserting the fixture

mounting screw (D), and then secure it with two ball nuts (G).

7. Pull the cord (A) down slightly until the strain relief touches the hex nut.

Note: Adjusting the strain relief of the canopy can decrease or increase

the length of cord that is exposed.

8. Attach the fixture canopy to the mounting strap by inserting the fixture mounting

screws, then secure it with two ball nuts.

9. Install a bulb Max.60W (not included).
