■
Automatic Bluetooth connection
Once you have successfully established a link between a mobile phone and the CIX 3000 Blue,
both devices will connect automatically as soon as the mobile phone enters the Bluetooth
range of the CIX 3000 Blue hands-free terminal.
Note:
If 5 mobile phones are already logged onto the CIX 3000 Blue, the phone logged on last
(the fifth phone) will automatically be deleted when another phone is logged on.

Resetting the CIX 3000 Blue (logging off all mobile phones)
To log off all mobile phones previously logged on and reset the hands-free terminal to its
default values, proceed as follows:

Press the v, V and m buttons on the remote control at the same time to reset the
CIX 3000 Blue.

4 high tones will sound to confirm that the hands-free unit has been reset successfully.

You may now log on up to 5 mobile phones.

Switching the CIX 3000 Blue on/off

Press the O button until you hear one high tone. This switches the hands-free terminal to
standby mode (the Bluetooth connection to the mobile phone is disconnected).

To switch the hands-free terminal back on, press the O button again until you hear one
low tone.
Making and receiving telephone calls
The functions described in this section are available when the hands-free profile is activated.
The functions available when the headset profile is activated are described in the section
“Making and receiving calls with the headset profile”.
■ Making a call with the mobile phone
If you make a call using the mobile phone, the call is automatically made via the CIX 3000 Blue
hands-free terminal.

Activating speech recognition on the mobile phone (depends on the mobile phone)

Press the v button on the remote control to activate speech recognition on the mobile
phone.

The operating instructions will tell you whether or not your mobile phone supports this
function.

Receiving a call

Press the p button on the remote control to receive an incoming call.
■
Rejecting a call
☞
Press the H button on the remote control to reject an incoming call.
■
Ending a call
☞
Press the H button on the remote control to end an active call.
