Trip computer
The trip computer is invoked by selecting the Trip Computer function in the
Start Menu.
The integrated trip computer displays the following information:
 Speed current speed
 Avg. speed Average speed (since reset)
 Elapsed distance route distance (since reset)
 Elapsed time travel time (since reset)
 Speed Warning with speed warning (on / off) and warning limit (adjustable)

The speed display serves only as additional information. Only the car speedo-
meter should be used in order to determine the actual speed.
The data for route distance, travel time and average speed are reset to 0 by using
the Reset function.
Speed warning
If the speed warning is activated and the speed limited is exceeded, then audible info
will be provided (gong) and as well as a message on the screen.
This function is useful, for example, if winter tyres are used that require that a certain
maximum speed is not exceeded.
Setting the speed limit:
 Move the cursor to the speed indication field
 Press the
OK
-button.
 Use the cursor buttons

1) and / or
8
or
6
(
+
1) to set the warning limit.
 Press the
OK
-button again.

The current status (on / off) is displayed by the colour of the quadrant in front of
the speed value (red: OFF / green: ON).
Switching speed warning on / off:
 Select Warning ON / OFF option.
The speed warning is switched on or off each time the
OK
-button is pressed.
