NOTE: The Start-It Jumpstart System is equipped with an audible Reverse Polarity Alarm. This feature is only active when the Safety Switch is turned OFF. After both battery clamp connections are made during jump-start procedures, if you hear a buzzing sound, DO NOT TURN ON THE SAFETY SWITCH. You must swap the clamp connections before continuing. If the buzzer does not sound, it is safe to turn on the Safety Switch Jumpstart procedure.

Please read this guide carefully before use to ensure optimum performance and avoid damage to the unit or items that you are using it with. The Vector® START-ITTM JUMPSTART SYSTEM & 12-VOLT DC POWER SUPPLY is a compact, durable and portable jumpstart system for vehicles and boats that have a standard 12-Volt battery system.

OPERATION AS A PORTABLE POWER SUPPLY 4.1 Operation as a 12-volt DC Power Supply NOTE: Make sure that the unit ‘s safety ON/OFF switch is ALWAYS in the OFF position when using the 12-volt DC accessory outlet. 1. Lift up the cover of the unit ‘s 12-volt DC cigarette lighter-type receptacle (See Figure 1, #1). 2. Insert the 12-volt DC plug from the appliance into the receptacle on the unit. 3. Switch on the appliance, and operate as usual.
5. EMERGENCY/WORK LIGHT Bulb Replacement You will need a small Phillips screwdriver 1. Lift off the lens assembly. 4. Remove the burned-out bulb. 5. Replace with a new bulb (12-volt 0.4 amp Krypton bulb). 6. Snap the lens cover back into place, and replace Phillips screws. 6.
