The VC-300M Mobile Antenna Tuner is compact,
lightweight, easy-to-operate, and the most economical
of the antenna tuners available from VECTRONICS .
FEATURES:
Versatility: The VC-300M is compatible with almost
ANY antenna; including verticals, dipoles, inverted
vees, beams or mobile whips that are fed by coax
cable. (Balanced feed not included).
Dual Movement Meter: The VC-300M features a
dual movement meter which simultaneously monitors
Power and SWR. The meter is lighted. 115 VAC to 12
VDC adaptor is not included.

Dummy Load, a Peak or Average reading meter, and
is easy to operate. It is the best-selling antenna tuner
available from VECTRONICS .
FEATURES:
Versatility: The VC-300DLP is compatible with almost
ANY antenna; including verticals, dipoles, inverted
vees, beams or mobile whips that are fed by coax
cable, open feeders, balanced lines or a single wire.
Tuning Options: The VC-300DLP features a front
panel switch control which allows you to alternate
between two coax fed antennas (direct or through the
tuner). You can also switch to a balanced line or a
wire antenna. The BYPASS position allows you to
switch to a directly connected coax antenna. In the
DIRECT positions, COAX 1 OUT or COAX 2 OUT, the
tuner is bypassed but the SWR/Power Meter remains
active. The VC-300DLP also has switch positions for
the Dummy Load (TUNED or DIRECT). Using the
TUNED Dummy Load allows you to preset the tuner
for the band in use, eliminating on-air interference.

TECH TIPS
Generally, Antenna Tuners can lower
your antenna SWR from 4 or 5 to 1, to
a more reasonable 1.2 to 1.5 to 1.
Under these conditions, you can oper-
ate the rated power as specified.
Running more continuous power than
specified (ie: 200 Watts @ 4:1 SWR)
may damage or overheat components.
Higher power than 200 Watts with a
higher SWR than 4:1 requires a reduc-
tion of power to the tuner.
