If the reflective properties of the medium are good, you can
mount VEGAPULS 62 on sockets higher than the antenna
length. You will find recommended values for socket heights in
the following illustration. The socket end should be smooth and
burr-free, if possible also rounded. Then carry out a false echo
storage.

With liquids, align the sensor directly towards the product
surface (as vertical as possible) to achieve optimum meas-
urement.
