In order to determine if the Ignition Electrodes
are in good condition and properly adjusted,
reference
Section 8.5.
A: If the Ignition Electrodes are in poor
condition:
The Ignition Electrodes must be
replaced,
reference Section 8.5 for
replacement
instructions.
If the Ignition Electrodes are not properly
adjus
ted:
Adjust the Ignition Electrodes,
reference Section 8.5 for adjustment
in
structions.
If the Ignition Electrodes are both in good
condition and properly adjusted:
Continue Troubleshooting.
Q7:
Is the Diesel-Burner's Flame Sensor
functioning properly?
In order to determine if the Flame Sensor is
functioning
properly, reference Section 8.4
and
perform the Flame Sensor's "Component
Test".
A: If the Flame Sensor is not functioning
properly:
The Flame Sensor must be replaced,
reference Section 8.4 for replace-
ment
instructions.
If the Flame Sensor is functioning prop-
erly
:
Continue Troubleshooting.
Q8:
Is the Diesel-Burner's Fuel Pump function-
ing properly?
In order to determine if the Fuel Pump is
functioning
properly, reference Section 8.8
and perform the Fuel Pump's "Component
Test".
A: If the Fuel Pump is not functioning prop-
erly:
The Fuel Pump must be replaced,
reference Section 8.8 for replace-
ment
instructions.
If the Fuel Pump is functioning properly:
See
the "NOTE" below.

Section 7.3
After turning the Diesel switch ON:
TS3
: The Hydro-Hot's Diesel-Burner ignites
after several starting attempts.
NOTES:
A. It is ideal to have the Hydro-Hot's Fuel Filter
replaced yearly, reference Section 8.1. A
plugged Fuel Filter will not allow the Diesel-
Burner to operate properly. Also, before
proceeding to the following procedures,
be sure to check that the vehicle's fuel
tank has a sufficient level of fuel.
B. In order to perform the following procedures,
it is necessary to detach the Diesel-Burner
Head from the Hydro-Hot. Be sure to
reference Section 8.2 for detaching and
reat
taching instructions.
Q1: Is the Diesel-Burner's Fuel Nozzle function-
ing properly?
In order to determine if the Fuel Nozzle
is
functioning properly, reference Section 8.6
and
perform the Fuel Nozzle's "Component
Test".
A: If the Fuel Nozzle is not functioning
properly:
