SD/MMC card
Insert an SD/MMC card (not included) into the card slot [1]. Make sure the card
is not full or locked.
Power supply
The device has an internal Li-Ion battery that can be charged either via a
powered USB port (USB cable included) or via the cigar lighter plug from the
vehicle (adaptor cable included).
USB
o Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port [11]; plug the other end into
a powered USB port. The status LED [2] turns on red + blue.
o The device is recognized as an additional storage media.
Car adaptor
o Plug one end of the car adaptor into the 5Vdc input [12] and plug the other
end into a 12V/24V cigar lighter socket. As soon as the car is started the
CAMCOLVC15 switches on and starts recording. The status LED [2] turns on
red + blue.
Mounting
Screw the suction cup on the mounting hole [16] on top of the camera.
Place the suction cup on the window and push down the handle to secure it.
Recording mode
The camera starts recording automatically when it is switched on.
To switch on the camera, press and hold the ON/OFF button [6] for ±3s. The
status LED [2] flashes blue and the display shows to indicate recording
mode.
To stop recording, press the REC/SNAP button [4]. The status LED [2] is now
on.
Note: when connected to the cigar lighter socket, the camera stops recording
automatically when the car power is switched off.
Snapshot mode
Press the MODE button [10] to select snapshot mode ; the status LED [2]
turns blue.
Press the REC/SNAP button [4] to take a snapshot.
Preview/playback mode
Press the MODE button [10] to select playback mode ; the status LED [2]
turns blue.
Use the UP [9] and DOWN [8] buttons to scroll through the available
recordings.
Note: for video files the duration is indicated.
