Never search a site without permission of the owner.
Observe all relevant national, regional and local laws.
Do not destroy objects of historical or archaeological value. Contact a museum or a historical society
in case you find an object you cannot define.
Leave the vegetation of the site intact and fill in any holes you may have dug during your search.
8. Cleaning and Maintenance
The search head is waterproof and can be submerged in either fresh or salt water. The handle,
however, is not waterproof. Rinse the search head with fresh water to prevent corrosion of the metal
parts after using the device in salt water.
Replace the battery when the buzzer weakens.
Replace old batteries to prevent leakage.
Handle the CS50 gently and with care. Dropping it may damage the circuit board or the housing and
may cause the device to malfunction.
