2. Safety Instructions

Be very careful during the installation: touching live wires can cause life-threatening electroshocks.

Do not touch the device during operation as the housing heats up.

Keep this device away from rain and moisture.

Unplug the mains lead before opening the housing.

• This device has left the factory in perfect condition. In order to maintain this condition and to ensure a safe

operation, it is absolutely necessary for the user to follow the safety instructions and warning notes written in this

user manual.

• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer

will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

• Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature. Protect the device

against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.

• Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this manual.

• Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorised dealer replace it if necessary.

b) Fuse • • • • Only fit or replace a fuse when the device is unplugged from the mains. If the lamp burns out, chances are you will need to replace the fuse as well. Replace a blown fuse with a fuse of the same type and ratings. For the installation, you need one 5A / 250VAC 5 x 20 mm fuse: order code : FF5N 1) Remove the fuse holder cap on the rear panel underneath the power connector. 2) Remove the old fuse and replace it by the new one with the same technical specifications.

a) Music Controlled Mode The fixture will react to the music through the built-in microphone. b) Master/Slave Mode If you have several fixtures, you can chain them together and let them make synchronous movement, controlled by the master device. The master unit will drive all slave units. Connect the master and slave units using the provided DMX cable.

2. Veiligheidsinstructies Wees voorzichtig bij de installatie: raak geen kabels aan die onder stroom staan om dodelijke elektroshocks te vermijden. Raak het toestel niet aan wanneer het in gebruik is: de behuizing wordt heet. Bescherm dit toestel tegen regen en vochtigheid. Ontkoppel de voedingskabel en open dan pas de behuizing. • Dit toestel heeft onze werkplaatsen verlaten in een perfecte staat.

1. Verwijder de twee X en Y schroeven aan de achterkant van de behuizing. 2. Steek de lamp voorzichtig in de fitting. Er is maar één manier om de lamp te installeren. Span de twee schroeven aan. 3. Er bevinden zich drie kleine schroeven, gemarkeerd met A, B en C, op de plaat. Deze schroeven dienen om de fitting in de behuizing te regelen. Regel de lamp met behulp van de drie schroeven om de lamp maximaal te benutten. • De lamp is van het type “hot restrike”.

a) Muziekgestuurd Het toestel reageert op de muziek dankzij de ingebouwde microfoon. b) Master/Slave U kunt verscheidene toestellen aan elkaar koppelen en de bewegingen op elkaar laten afstemmen. Het master toestel bestuurt de andere. Het master toestel bestuurt alle slave toestellen. Koppel de toestellen aan elkaar met de meegeleverde DMX kabel.

2. Prescriptions de sécurité Soyez prudent lors de l'installation : toucher un câble sous tension peut causer des électrochocs mortels. Ne touchez pas l'appareil lorsqu'il est en usage : le boîtier chauffe ! Protégez l'appareil contre la pluie et l'humidité. Débranchez le câble d'alimentation avant d'ouvrir le boîtier. • Cet appareil a quitté nos lieux dans un parfait état.

1. Dévissez les deux vis marquées X et Y à l’arrière de l’appareil. 2. Installez la lampe dans la douille avec précaution. Il n’y a qu’une seule façon d’installer une lampe. Serrez les vis. 3. Réglez la douille, située la plaque dans le boîtier, à l’aide des trois petites vis marquées A, B et C. Réglez la lampe à l’aide des trois vis pour une utilisation maximale de celle-ci. • La lampe est de type “hot restrike”. Patientez une dizaine de minutes avant de rallumer l’appareil.

a) Pilotage par la musique L’appareil réagit à la musique grâce au microphone incorporée. b) Maître/esclave Il est possible de connecter plusieurs appareils l’un à l’autre et de harmoniser les mouvements de lumière. L’appareil maître dirige les autres appareils. L’appareil maître dirige tous les appareils esclave. Branchez les appareils l’un à l’autre à l’aide du câble DMX fourni.

2. Instrucciones de seguridad Cuidado durante la instalación: puede sufrir una peligrosa descarga eléctrica al tocar los cables con un voltaje peligroso. ¡No toque el aparato durante su operación: la caja se calienta! No exponga este equipo a lluvia o humedad. Desconecte el cable de alimentación de la red antes de abrir la caja. • El aparato ha salido de la fábrica en condiciones perfectas.

• Para la instalación necesita una lámpara de 90V / 250W MSD GY9.5 (Referencia: LAMP250MSD o LAMP250MSD/2) 1) Desatornille los tornillos X e Y de la parte trasera de la caja. 2) Ponga cuidadosamente la lámpara en el casquillo. Existe sólo un método para introducir la lámpara. Vuelva a introducir la lámpara y el soporte de lámpara y vuelva a atornillar los dos tornillos. 3) En la placa de acceso hay 3 pequeños tornillos marcados con A, B y C, que se utilizan para adaptar el soporte de lámpara de la caja.

5. Uso El aparato tiene 8 modos de funcionamiento que se visualizan en la pantalla. 6. Limpieza y mantenimiento 1. Apriete bien las tuercas y los tornillos y verifique que no hay señales de oxidación. 2. No modifique la caja, los soportes y las ópticas p.ej. no taladre agujeros adicionales en un soporte o no modifique las conexiones, etc. 3. Las partes móviles no pueden mostrar ningún rastro de desgaste y deben estar bien equilibradas. 4. No dañe los cables de alimentación. Contacte con un técnico especializado para instalar el aparato. 5.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie das Gerät nicht in einem Raum montieren mit einer Temperatur höher als die in den technischen Daten angegebene Umgebungstemperatur Ta. • Nehmen Sie das Gerät erst in Betrieb, nachdem Sie sich mit seinen Funktionen vertraut gemacht haben. Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht von Personen bedienen, die sich nicht mit dem Gerät auskennen. Meist ist die Beschädigung des Gerätes das Ergebnis von unfachmännischer Bedienung.

• Das Gerät muss immer mit einer zweiten Befestigung z.B. mit einem Sicherheitskabel gesichert werden (VDLSC7 oder VDLSC8). • Stehen Sie während der Montage, Entfernung oder Wartung nie direkt unter dem Gerät. Lassen Sie das Gerät jährlich und vor der Inbetriebnahme von einem Fachmann prüfen. • Montieren Sie das Gerät an einem Ort, an dem es wenig Vorübergehende gibt und der unzugänglich ist für Unbefugte.

b) Master/Slave Modus Wenn Sie verschiedene Geräte haben, können Sie diese mit einander verbinden und synchrone Bewegungen ausführen lassen. Die Master-Einheit wird alle Slave-Einheiten steuern. Verbinden Sie die Slave-Einheit und die Master-Einheit mit dem DMX-Kabel. In diesem Modus steuert das eingebaute Mikrofon (wenn im musikgesteuertem Modus) oder die automatische Programm-Funktion der Master-Einheit alle Geräte und sie werden rhythmisch und synchron Farben wechseln.
