PMR3AP – PMR3 ACCESSORY PACK

1. Introduction

Thank you for buying the PMR3AP. Read this manual carefully before bringing the devices into service.

2. Charging Instructions

1. Insert 3 rechargeable AAA (NiMH) batteries (1.2V each) in the PMR3.

2. Connect the adaptor to the top of the PMR3 and plug it into an AC outlet. 1 adapter can charge 2 PMRs at once.

3. On the display of the PMR3, the b attery level indicator will blink indicating the unit is in ch arging mode. The icon will

stop blinking to indicate charging is complete (after about 5 hours for new/empty batteries).

4. The charger has an overcharge protection: neither the PMR3 nor the batteries can be damaged when charging is

complete but the adapter is still connected to the AC outlet.

3. Caution

- Do not expose the adapter to rain or moisture to avoid the risk of fire or electric chock.

- Do not operate the adapter if it appears to be damaged in any way, and do not disassemble it.

- The power cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, use another adaptor.

- Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries as it may result in severe damage, a.o. battery explosion.

4. Troubleshooting

PROBLEM SOLUTION

Battery level indicator does not

blink

- Make sure the AC power outlet is OK.

- Verify the connections of the adapter to the power outlet and to the PMR3.

- Verify if there are 3 correctly polarized rechargeable batteries inside the PMR3.

Indicator does not stop blinking Check if the recharging time is sufficient.

2. Oplaadinstructies

1. Plaats 3 herlaadbare AAA (NiMH) batterijen (1.2V elk) in de PMR3.

2. Sluit de adapter aan op de PMR3 en steek hem in e en stopcontact. 1 adapter kan 2 PMR's tegelijk laden.

3. Op het scherm van de PMR3 zal de batterij-indicator knipperen als het toestel aan het laden is. Als het icoontje niet

meer knippert, is het laden voltooid (voor nieuwe/lege batterijen: na ongeveer 5u).

4. De lader heeft een ingebouwde bescherming tegen overladen: noch de PMR3 noch de batterijen kunnen worden

beschadigd wanneer het laden voltooid is maar de adapter aangesloten blijft op het lichtnet.

3. Waarschuwing

- Stel de adapter niet bloot aan regen of vochtigheid om brand of elektrische schok te vermijden.

- Gebruik de adapter niet als hij tekenen van beschadiging vertoond, en demonteer hem niet.

- De stroomkabel kan niet vervangen worden. Als de kabel beschadigd is, dient u een andere adapter te gebruiken.

- Probeer geen niet-oplaadbare batterijen te laden: dit kan leiden tot ernstige schade, o.a. batterijexplosie.

Problemen & Oplossingen PROBLEEM Batterij-indicator knippert niet Indicator stopt niet met knipperen OPLOSSING - Controleer of er stroom op het stopcontact zit. - Controleer of de lader en de adapter goed aangesloten zijn. - Controleer of er 3 goed gepolariseerde herlaadbare batterijen in de PMR3 zitten. - Controleer of de laadtijd voldoende is. . Cuidado - No exponga el cargador a la lluvia ni a la humedad para reducir el riesgo de incendio o descargas eléctricas. No utilice el cargador si parece funcionar incorrectamente y no lo desmonte.
