monthwarrantyonproductionflawsand
defectivematerial
asfromtheoriginaldate
ofpurchase.
•Velleman®candec ideto replaceanarticle
withanequivalent artic l e,ortorefundthe
retailvaluetotallyorpartiallywhenthe
complaintisvalidandafreerepairor
replacementofthearticleis impossible,orif
theexpensesareoutof
proportion.
Youwillbe deliveredare p lacingarticleora
refundatthevalueof100% ofthepurchase
priceincaseofaflawoccurre d inthefirst
yearafte rthedateofpurchas eandde livery,
orareplacingarticleat50%ofthe purchase
priceorarefund
atthevalueof50%ofthe
retailvalueincaseofaflawoccurredinthe
secondye arafterth e dateofpurc haseand
deliver y.
•Notcoveredbywarranty:
‐alldirectorindirectdamagecause dafter
deliver ytothearticle(e.g.byoxidation,
shocks,falls,dust,dirt,humidity...),
andby
thearticle,aswe ll asitscontents(e.g.data 
loss),compensationforlossof profits;
‐frequentlyreplace dcons umablegoods,
partsoraccessorie ssuchasbatterie s,lamps ,
rubberparts,driv ebel ts...( u nlim it edlist);
‐flawsresultingfromfire,waterdamage,
lightning,accident,naturaldisaster,etc.…;
‐flawscauseddeliberately,
negligentlyor
resultingfromimproper handling, negli g ent
maintenance,abusiveuseorusecontraryto
themanufacturer’sinstructions;
‐damagecausedbyacommercial,
professionalorcollectiv e useof thearticle
(thewarrantyvaliditywillbereducedtosix
(6)monthswhenthearticleis used 
professionally);
‐damageresulting fromaninappropriate

packingandshippingof thearticle;
‐alldamagecausedbymodification,repair
oralte ration performedbyathirdparty
withoutwri ttenpermissionbyVelleman®.
•Articlestoberepairedmustbedelivered
toyourVellem an®dealer,solidlypacked
(preferablyintheorig inalpackaging),andbe
completedwiththeoriginalreceipt
of
purchaseandaclearflawdescription.
•Hint:Inordertosaveoncostandtime,
pleaserereadthemanualandcheckifthe 
flawiscausedbyobviouscausespriorto
presentingthearticleforrepair.Notethat 
returninganon‐def ectivearticlecanalso 
involvehandlingcosts.
•Repairsoccurringafterwarranty
