Operation • Place the scale on a flat, steady vibration-free surface. • Always place the weight in the centre of the balance (indicated with ) and wait until the measurement is stabilized, indicated by a circle [H] in the display before reading the value. Use the On/Off button [A] to switch on the scale. After initialization, the LCD display shows the stable measurement indication [H] and the zero weight indication [I].
VTBAL9 7. Battery • • • • • To replace the battery, slide away the battery cover on the back of the scale. Replace the old battery with 2 new AAA size batteries (LR03C). Make sure to use the correct polarity. Close the battery compartment by sliding the battery cover back in place. Remove the battery when the device is not in use for a long time. Do not recharge batteries and do not throw in fire as they may explode. WARNING: handle batteries with care, observe warnings on battery casing.

VTBAL9 7. • Batterie Per sostituire le batterie far scorrere verso l’esterno il coperchio del relativo vano, posto sulla parte posteriore della bilancia. Sostituire le batterie vecchie con due nuove, formato AAA (LR03C). Rispettare la polarità. Chiudere il coperchio facendolo scorrere in senso opposto a quello di apertura. Rimuovere le batterie se il dispositivo non viene utilizzato per lungo tempo.
