Testing RJ45 and similar cables • Insert one end in the SEND RJ45 socket (socket marked with a small triangle) and the other end in the RECEIVER RJ45 socket. • Switch on the device. • Select the manual or the automatic test mode. • In automatic test mode, the tester will start testing and the LED graph will light from left to right. In manual mode, push the TEST button to advance a step at a time. • The upper graph represents the input signal; the lower graph represents the output signal.
