VTTEST18 1. Place the probe tip on or near the circuit or unit to be tested. The probe tip lights and you hear a beep to indicate the presence of an AC voltage from 100 to 600 VAC. 2. To find a break in a hot conductor, trace the wire until the signal stops. To find a break in a neutral conductor, connect a load between the hot and neutral, and then trace the wire until the signal stops. 3. Press the on/off button to use the flashlight.
