1. Ensure that your camera
power is turned off, and
remove the battery.
2. On a flat surface, turn the
Canon SL2 camera upside
down, and open the battery
chamber door and DC cord
hole cover.
3. Match up the metal contacts
inside the SL2’s battery
chamber with the dummy
battery. Insert the dummy
battery, and push it all the
way in until it’s locked in
place. Close the camera’s
battery chamber door.
