THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING VELLO The Vello EZ-Flip Gel Set contains 30 assorted color gels and a reversible silver reflector/ black flag to control the light from your camera-mounted flash. When the light from your flash casts a color that is unflattering or harsh on skin tones, use one of the gels to acquire the correct 2 shade. If you want to get creative with the color in your photos, quickly insert one of the gels into the EZ-Flip Gel Holder and watch how your photograph transforms.

ATTACHING THE EZ-FLIP GEL HOLDER 1. Place the EZ-Flip Gel Holder onto the flash head with the rubber side of the hook-and-loop strap facing down. Make sure the unit is facing forward with the gel holder flipped over, in front of the flash. 2. Wrap the hook-and-loop strap around the head of the flash unit and secure tightly so the gel holder does not slip. You can have the gel holder in front of the flash or flip it out of the way at your convenience.
INSERTING A COLOR GEL Colored gels can be used for coloring, warming, cooling, or color correcting your photos. 1. Select a colored gel and slide it behind the gel holder tabs. 2. Position the gel holder in front of the face of the flash. 6 Tip: Each side of the gel holder has tabs which can be used with multiple gels together for different color combinations.
USING THE BLACK FLAG The black flag is used when you need to control the spill light from your flash. This is helpful for blocking light from your subject, or when you do not want light bouncing to other areas and affecting your photos. Typically, this is used in off-camera strobe applications. 1. Insert the black flag into either side of the EZ-Flip Gel Holder so that the silver side is facing the flash. 2.
USING THE SILVER REFLECTOR The silver reflector is used to bounce light while adding a saturated, soft look. This is ideal when shooting portraits or close-ups. 1. Insert the reflector into either side of the EZ-Flip Gel Holder so that the silver side is facing the flash. 8 2. Adjust the angle of your flash’s head so that it is pointing upwards. 3. Flip the gel holder to a 45° angle above the front of the flash for optimal use.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY This VELLO product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later.
