INTRODUCTION GENERAL INFORMATION Thank you for choosing a component of the Vello Universal Diffuser Series. Our diffusers and accessories extend the functionality of your camera flash or portable flash unit by softening, enhancing and focusing your flash in various lighting situations. The Vello Universal Diffuser Series allows photographers to utilize a variety of portable flash accessories with their camera equipment.

FD-100 | UNIVERSAL POP-UP DIFFUSER Benefits: Instructions:tructions: • Softens the light output from the pop-up flash on SLR cameras 1. W ith camera lens facing away from your body, slide tongue into hot shoe of camera with white side of tongue facing upward. • Softens harsh shadows, reduces hot spots and produces soft, even illumination • Compatible with all camera modes (Auto, Aperture Priority, etc.) • Fits most cameras with pop-up flashes 2.
Notes: When using the adhesive-backed fabric fasteners, be sure to attach the “hook” fabric fastener to front diffusion screen and the “loop” fabric fastener to nameplate area of camera for a more secure fit. Using this device with certain cameras may interfere with hot shoe sensors and disable flash; ensure tongue does not rest directly on microswitch in hot shoe and carefully trim away the edges of tongue to resolve this issue.
FD-200 & 210 | LIGHT BOUNCERS Instructions: Benefits: 1. Attach adhesive-backed fabric fasteners to sides and back of flash head; carefully measure height of flash to the diffuser and position fasteners accordingly. • Softens flash light output with minimal light loss 2. A ffix fabric fasteners found on light bouncer to fasteners placed on flash head and secure firmly.
FD-300, 310 & 320 | UNIVERSAL SOFTBOXES Benefits: • Available in 3 convenient sizes • Fits most portable flash units and folds flat for easy storage • Softens and diffuses flash light producing soft, even illumination • Reduces harsh shadows and hot spots Instructions: 1. Attach adhesive-backed fabric fasteners to sides and back of flash head. 2. Securely affix flash softbox to flash head with the VELLO logo facing upward.
FD-400 & 410 | SNOOT/REFLECTORS Benefits: • Available in sizes 5” and 8” • Dual design for use as a snoot or reflector • Fits most portable flashes • Lightweight and Portable Instructions: For use as a Snoot: 1. Attach adhesive-backed fabric fasteners to front and back of flash head; carefully measure height of flash to position fasteners accordingly. 2. Wrap device around flash head with silver fabric facing inwards; secure with fasteners for spotlight effect. For use as a Reflector: 1.

FD-800 | CINCH STRAP Benefits: Instructions: • Wraps around portable flash units to enable swift attachment of portable flash accessories 1. Attach band of cinch strap to the uppermost part of flash head with rubber material facing inward and fabric fastener strip facing outward.
Limited One-Year Warranty This VELLO product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later.
