THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING VELLO The Vello Selfie Trigger infrared remote control is a wireless remote that lets you take photos with your camera from up to 16 feet away. It's ideal for when you want to take a picture from in front of the camera, as in group photos or just for your selfie shots. The remote is also a key aid when you would like to minimize camera shake while shooting macro or long-exposure photographs.
REPLACING THE BATTERY The Vello Selfie Trigger is powered by a 3 V CR2025 battery. To replace the battery, follow these steps: 1. Turn the remote upside down. 2. Push the locking tab in the direction indicated by the arrow, and pull the battery tray out of the remote. 3. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Make sure the side marked with a plus sign (+) is facing up. 4. Push the battery tray back into the remote until it locks in place.

TROUBLESHOOTING The camera will not trigger. • Make sure the plastic separator is removed from the battery. • Make sure the battery is installed according to the correct polarity. • Set your camera for remote triggering. • Make sure there is nothing blocking the line of sight between the Selfie Trigger and your camera’s IR sensor.
