This Manufacturer’s Certification Statement can be relied upon by a taxpayer for verification that certain VELUX products eliible for the tax credits
identified in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The IRS has published tax-related interpretations for “Residential Enery Efficient Property” in IRS Notice
2009-41. The IRS requires the manufacturer be identified: VELUX America LLC, P.O. Box 5001, Greenwood, SC 29648 as the manufacturer of VELUX
products covered by this certification.
Following the IRS guidelines and under advisement by our tax advisors, VELUX has determined the following products are eliible as Residential Enery
Efficient Property and qualify for the credit allowed under Internal Revenue Code Section 25D (VELUX Solar Electric Product Cost and Installation
amount should be listed as Qualified Solar Electric Property Cost on the IRS form 5695. For all other FORM filing questions, please consult your tax
