Resetting and preparing for registration
Electrically operated and solar roof windows can be reset
to their initial factory settings and then be prepared for
registration.
Note: Resetting removes the connection between the win-
dow with its electrical products and all remote controls.
Therefore the products cannot be operated until they have
been registered in a remote control again. To reinstate the
connection between product and remote control after re-
set, please refer to the instructions in section Initial set-up.
Depending on the window type, there are various ways of
resetting.
Centre-pivot roof windows
GGL/GGU INTEGRA, GGL/GGU Solar or GGL/GGU with
KMX 100 or KSX 100
Open the window manually. (If the window is already
open, it must be closed with the remote control before it
is opened manually). Press the test button on the window
operator for at least 10 seconds. The window operator and
other electrical products of the window will run briefly
back and forth. Frame lights will flash briefly.
Top-hung roof windows
GHL, GHU, GPL, GPU, GTL, GTU and VKU with KMX 200
Open the window manually. (If the window is already
open, it must be closed with the remote control before
it is opened manually). Remove the cover of the window
operator. Press the test button on the window operator
for at least 10 seconds. The window operator and other
electrical products of the window will run briefly back and
forth. Frame lights will flash briefly. Replace the cover of
the window operator again.
Flat roof window CVP
Carefully remove the cover cap on the kerb. Press the test
button on the window operator behind the cover cap for at
least 10 seconds. The window operator and other electric-
al products of the window will run briefly back and forth.
Replace the cover cap.
