If you wish to install the heater onto a ceiling with suspended tiles, follow these instructions: Select a ceiling tile in the desired location. Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the tile with the appropriate drill hole(s). Create a mounting board (see below) 2.54 cm (1 inch) thick and 5.1cm x60.33cm (2” x 23.75”) in length. Remove the marked tile from the ceiling.

An adapter as shown at C is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding lug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.
Interior Cleaning: The most common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or fluff entering the heater. Interior dust can be removed by following: 1. Remove heater from the mounting bracket. Set heater on table. 2. Remove the six screws located at the front of the guard, then the carefully remove guard. 3. Wipe interior: Carefully wipe the surface of the interior with a DRY cloth. 4. Close the safety grille: Secure back to the heater by closing screen and re-installing the screws. 5.
TROUBLESHOOTING If your heater fails to operate, please follow these procedures before contacting customer services: Problem Unit is not heating. The heater is creating a burning smell. Solution Probable Cause The heater is not plugged into a receptacle which is properly energized. Be sure to plug into a 120V AC, 60Hz outlet. The heater is not turned ON. Instructions de mise à la terre Cet appareil de chauffage doit fonctionner sur 120 volts. Le cordon d’alimentation possède une fiche telle qu’illustré sur la Figure A. Nettoyage intérieur : Les résidus de poussière ou de peluches qui pénètrent dans l’appareil de chauffage sont les raisons les plus courantes des surchauffes. La poussière intérieure peut être éliminée comme suit : 1. Retirez l’appareil de chauffage du support de fixation. Placez l’appareil de chauffage sur une table. 2. Retirez les six vis situées à l’avant de la grille de protection, puis retirez la grille de protection avec précaution. 3.
DÉPANNAGE Si votre appareil de chauffage ne fonctionne pas, suivez ces instructions avant de communiquer avec le service à la clientèle : Problème L’appareil ne chauffe pas.
