Monitoring
Your Vera system provides exceptional value with no contracts and no monthly
fees required. By self-monitoring your Vera system, you can respond to any
problems that occur, such as when sensors trip for motion or smoke is detected.
You’ll receive a notification whenever you have decided you want to be notified of
any event in your home that a sensor may experience.
Vera Central Monitoring Service takes home security to the next level, with
24/7 emergency dispatch of police, fire, or EMS when your Vera system detects
trouble (or if a user presses a "panic button"). No long-term contracts—with Vera
you can get just a month of service when you go on vacation, or use monitoring
service year-round for total peace-of-mind.
Video Archiving
You Vera system includes, at no charge, 1GB of cloud memory for your camera
video. (The actual amount of recording time depends on video resolution, frame
rate, and other details.) As video files accumulate, you can copy selected files to
your computer before they get erased to make room for new video recordings.
Advanced Camera Management takes your security camera video to the next
level by providing more cloud memory capacity, connections to cloud storage
services such as Google Drive, improved archiving and "hot zones" to trigger
recordings when an intruder or pet passes in front of a camera.
