PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
WHAT IS VERANDA LATTICE MADE OF?
Veranda Lattice is made of durable plastic and injection-molded to create the attractive wood grain pattern seen on both sides.
IN WHAT COLORS AND STYLES IS VERANDA LATTICE AVAILABLE?
4’ x 8’ Garden and Privacy styles are available in White, Almond, Brownstone, Wood Tone, Driftwood Gray, Woodland Green,
Cedar, Redwood, Brazilian Walnut and Nantucket Gray. The 2’ x 8’ Garden style is available exclusively in White.
WILL VERANDA LATTICE ROT, SPLINTER OR DECAY LIKE WOOD?
No. When installed according to instructions and used in the typical, recommended applications, Veranda Lattice will not peel, pit,
rot, blister, warp, crack, corrode or sustain damage by insects.
CAN VERANDA LATTICE BE PAINTED?
No. Painting Veranda Lattice is not recommended as most paints will not adhere adequately and will quickly begin to peel.
INSTALLATION AND FASTENERS
DO I NEED SPECIAL TOOLS TO INSTALL VERANDA LATTICE?
No. Conventional tools can be used for installation, including cutting, drilling and fastening. However, always wear protective
clothing and safety glasses for safety.
WHAT TYPE OF FASTENERS ARE RECOMMENDED?
#8 ss sheet metal screws will maintain the beauty of your project.
DOES VERANDA LATTICE REQUIRE GAPPING?
Yes. Like all plastic building materials, Veranda Lattice will expand and contract with temperature changes. A ¼” gap is required
on all sides of the panel to allow for expansion and contraction. Refer to the installation instructions for more information.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY LATTICE BEGINS TO BOW?
Loosen attaching screws and ensure enough space is allowed for expansion and contraction.
CAN VERANDA LATTICE BE INSTALLED SO THAT IT LIES FLAT (HORIZONTALLY)?
We do not recommended applications in which Veranda Lattice would lie flat. For example, do not use Veranda Lattice to create
overhead panels for an arbor or pergola. Veranda Lattice should be hung upright (vertically) and attached to a self-supporting
structure or frame. Refer to the installation instructions for more information.
CARE AND CLEANING
HOW DO I CLEAN VERANDA LATTICE?
Periodic rinsing with a garden hose is typically all that’s required to remove surface dirt, pollen and debris. For stubborn dirt, clean
with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.
