Lifetime Limited Warranty
turally altered, damage caused by re, ood, lightning,
windstorm, hurricane, tornado, earthquakes or other acts
of God, product which has been put in unusual service,
or used for purpose for which it was not designed, nor-
mal and expected weathering of the surface, any fading,
peeling, discoloring or other defects of nishes applied by
parties other than IPG, the cost of labor, materials or the
expenses incidental to the repair, removal, installation or
replacement of the warranted product, product which
has not been stored in accordance with IPG’s instructions,
product which has been damaged during shipment, stor-
age, handling, or installation, any personal injuries or dam-
age to property resulting from the installation, use or fail-
ure of the product. (The original purchaser assumes the
risk of all such injuries or damage.)
Warranty Amendment
This lifetime limited warranty shall not be altered or
amended except by a written instrument signed by the IPG
and the Veranda HP purchaser. No Veranda HP dealer or
other person or entity is authorized by IPG to make state-
ments about Veranda HP products except those included
in the Product Warranty. Inteplast shall not be liable for
statements made by a third party in contravention or in
addition to the Product warranty.
Warranty Area Coverage
This warranty shall only be applicable and enforceable in
the United States of America and Canada.
Disclaimer
THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY FOR Veran-
da HP PRODUCTS. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY IM-
PLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS
WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER APPLICA-
BLE WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE REMEDIES, AS
SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY, ARE THE EXCLUSIVE REM-
EDIES TO PRODUCT DEFECTS. In no event shall IPG be li-
able for any remote, incidental or consequential damages
of any nature, no matter how arising. Nor shall IPG be liable
for any amounts in excess of the original purchase price,
for parts found to be defective. Some states do not allow
the exclusion or limitation of special, incidental or conse-
quential damages, so the foregoing may not apply to you.
This limited warranty gives you specic legal rights, and
you may also have other rights which vary from state to
state. Building code regulations vary from municipality to
municipality and state to state. Therefore, each Veranda HP
purchaser should consult local building and safety codes
in order to meet any specic requirements. Veranda HP is
not liable for installation of Veranda HP Products that fail to
meet applicable local building and safety codes.
For your protection, all Veranda HP brand products, as
manufactured by Inteplast Group, Ltd. (IPG), are backed
by a lifetime-limited warranty. The warranty is limited to
the lifetime of the original purchaser for as long as he/she
owns the property on which the product is applied. If the
property to which the Veranda HP product is applied is a
condominium, or is owned by a party other than a resident
owner, including corporations, partnerships, unincorpo-
rated associations, churches, schools, government or pub-
lic entities, etc., the warranty period is (30) years.
If, during this warranty period, the product is found to rot,
delaminate, crack, split, check excessively swell, or become
infested with termites due to manufacturing or material
defects, IPG will, at its sole and absolute discretion, provide
replacement product, refund the purchase price with 30
years prorate, or repair the aected product. In no instance
will the cost of the remedy to IPG exceed the original pur-
chase price of the aected product. In all cases, the prod-
uct must be installed in accordance with its printed instal-
lation instructions in a workmanlike manner.
Claims
In order to le a valid warranty claim, and before IPG’s ob-
ligation under this warranty shall commence, the original
purchaser must send proof of purchase, photographs of
the defective Veranda HP Product, and a written descrip-
tion giving full particulars within 30 days of discovering a
defect believed to be covered prior to beginning a repair
or alteration by this warranty to :

IPG reserves the right to investigate any claim arising un-
der this warranty. As such, original purchaser shall make
available for inspection by IPG or an appointed representa-
tive, the product believed to be defective, and if requested,
ship the product to IPG at the above address.
Exclusions
This lifetime limited warranty does not cover painted n-
ishes or coating applied to Veranda HP product by the
original purchaser or any third party. Further, this warranty
does not cover any variations or changes in color, fading
or peeling caused by any act determined by IPG to be the
result of an intentional or negligent act. If, at the purchas-
er’s own risk, paint is to be applied to Veranda HP Product,
please consult Installation Guidelines to obtain best pos-
sible results. Again, any painted nishes or coating is not
covered by this warranty, product which has been struc-
