Car Adapter
Connection
The car adapter is an optional accessory. You can use the car adapter to provide
power to the NURIT 8000 and to charge the installed Lithium-polymer battery.
For information on ordering a car adapter for the NURIT 8000 terminal, see
Accessories and Documentation.
To connect the car
adapter
Connect one end of the car adapter cable to the Power port on the back of the
terminal and the other into the vehicle’s electrical power socket.

To remove the car
adapter
Unplug the car adapter from the vehicle’s electrical power socket and then from
the power connector, at the front of the NURIT 8000 terminal.
NOTE
The LED indicator on the car adaptor indicates the charge status of the battery,
as described in Battery Charge Status.
