Standard RS-232
Barcode Reader
Adapter
• Connects to an RS-232 barcode reader
External Modem
• Up to 14.4 kbps, 33.6 kbps or 56 kbps
telephone line modem
• Implements synchronous or asynchronous,
HDLC, TCP/IP protocols
• Supports FastConnect connectivity
• May be supplied with the terminal as a
standard accessory (model-dependent)
Keyboard Emulation

• Enables connection of a PC keyboard or
barcode reader to the terminal
• Facilitates the entry of catalog items and
other data
PC-Terminal Cable
• Cable used for downloading software
applications to the terminal
• Connects to an RS-232 COM port on the PC
Car Adapter
• Connects to standard 12 V vehicle electrical
power socket
• Used to power the NURIT 8000 and optional
Docking Station and to charge their battery
• May be supplied with the terminal as a
standard accessory (model-dependent)
Cellular Headset
Cable
• Hands-free headset.
• 2.5 mm plug.
• Not supplied by VeriFone. Contact your
cellular representative for purchasing
details.
