SAM, SIM, and SD/MMC Card Configurations
The configuration of the SAM, SIM, and SD/MMC cards are
model dependent, based off of what has been enabled of your
model of the terminal. If one or more of the slots are disabled in
your model, the slot is inaccessible.

Installing a SAM or SIM Card
To install a SAM or SIM card:
1. Remove the battery-SAM-SIM-SD/MMC compartment
cover, as described in “Removing and Replacing the
Battery-SAM-SIM-SD/MMC Compartment Cover” on page 19.
2. If necessary, remove the battery, as described on page 21.
3. Slide the SAM or SIM cardholder locking-clasp in the
direction indicated by the engraved arrow to the OPEN
position.

SAM
• 2 SAM slots, labelled SAM1 and SAM2
• Card configuration may be: 0/1/2
SIM
• 1 SIM card slot, accessible only if your terminal
model is GPRS enabled
• Card configuration may be: 0/1
SD/MMC
• 1 SD/MMC card slot
• Card configuration may be: 0/1
