15. Connecting Peripheral Devices

You can connect a variety of optional peripheral devices to the

NURIT 8000.

To connect a peripheral device to the NURIT 8000:

1. Connect the peripheral device to the appropriate end of the

adapter cable (see “Optional Accessories” on page 14).

2. Insert the other end of the adapter cable into the data port

on the front panel of the NURIT 8000.

Note

Peripheral devices may require special adapter cables

to connect to the NURIT 8000. Certain peripheral

devices may also require an external power supply.

Refer to the specific product documentation of the

peripheral devices or contact your local VeriFone

representative or service provider for further details.
