General Care and
Maintenance
The NURIT 8000 has been designed to give
you long and trouble-free service with
minimal operator care. To maintain the
accurate functioning of the terminal, protect
it from direct sunlight, extreme heat,
dampness and dust.
Cleaning the NURIT 8000
For normal cleaning, observe the following
guidelines:
Caution

Never use abrasive compounds
or solvents, thinners, benzene
or synthetic cleansers as they
may distort or damage the
plastic and critical parts.
• Never clean the keypad with
liquids. Use only a lightly
dampened cloth or soft brush.
• Never rub or strongly press on
the LCD touch screen.
• Gently wipe off dirt from the body of the
terminal with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth.
• A very mild dishwashing detergent can be
used to dampen the cloth.

Alcohol or alcohol-based cleansers may
also be used for stains that are more
difficult.
