Problem Remedy
The printer
continues to
operate when
out of paper
1. Verify that the paper sensor
of the printer mechanism
(inside the paper roll
compartment) is not
blocked by a torn piece of
paper or dirt.
2. If the problem persists,
contact an authorized
service representative.
The magnetic
card reader
does not
function
properly
1. Verify that the card has
been swiped with its
magnetic stripe at the
bottom and facing the user.
See Figure 23 Magnetic
Card Reader on page 64.
2. Swipe the magnetic card in
the opposite direction.
3. If possible, try using a
different magnetic card.
4. If the problem persists,
contact an authorized
service representative.
