Selecting
Reader Location
Use the following guidelines when selecting a location for your contactless reader:
• Select a location convenient for the customer.
• Select a location near the device that will be connected to the contactless unit.
Environmental
Factors
The contactless device is waterproof and dustproof, and is suitable for outdoor
use. The reader is designed for any rainfall to run off of it and fade-proof from sun
exposure.
WARNING
For safety, do not string cables or cords across a walkway.
CAUTION
Metallic objects in close proximity to the reader may cause card detection
problems. Avoid placing metallic objects at the front of the card reader, apart from
the mounting surface.
