Using the
Magnetic Card
Reader
The VX 520 Color D/E CTLS terminal supports credit or debit card transactions.
To conduct a credit or
debit card transaction
1 Position a magnetic card with the stripe in the card reader and facing inward,
toward the keypad.
2 To ensure a proper read of the magnetic swipe card, the user should insert the
magnetic card from the top of the unit, as shown in
Figure 19.
3 Swipe the card through the magnetic card reader.
