3 If pairing is successful, the BT Devices menu appears on the terminal screen.
The friendly name of the Bluetooth AP Base Station appears on the first line of
the BT Devices menu.
If everything is connected properly and the terminal is unable to go online, refer to
Chapter 6.
Setting the
Connection
Information for a
Paired Device
To set the connection information for a paired device:
1 Select Paired Device.
2 Select a device from the list.
3 On the BT Device Port, select either Ethernet, Modem, or Serial (this is for
XPS019).
Pairing with Another
Bluetooth AP
Charging Base
Station
Once the terminal is paired with a Bluetooth AP Base Station and initialized, it may
be paired with additional Bluetooth AP Base Station.
To pair a terminal with another Bluetooth AP Base Station:
1 Select Discovery on the terminal’s Setup menu, then press Enter.
2 Make sure the terminal is within five meters from the Bluetooth AP Base
Station, which must be powered off.
3 When the terminal displays the base station, select it by pressing the
appropriate name, and then press Enter.
4 On the Discover menu, select Yes when asked if Pair with Device screen
appears.
5 The terminal and base station will then pair. The terminal will then make the
new Bluetooth AP Base Station the default pairing device.
If everything is connected properly and the terminal is unable to go online, refer to
Chapter 6.

Station
To remove a Bluetooth AP Base Station to which a terminal has been paired:
1 Navigate to the BT Devices menu.
2 Select the Bluetooth AP Base Station you want to remove as a pair.
3 Select Remove All Pairs, then press the Enter key.
