Before Using REMOVING THE BATTERY CHARGING YOUR BATTERY 1. Push down on top of the battery cover and slide it off to remove. 1. To remove the battery cover, push down on top of the battery cover and slide it off of the unit. 1. To charge, open the Charging/Data Jack cover, and connect the wall charger. Make sure you align the wall charger as shown in the image. If not it will damage the charging connector on the phone and will not charge. 2.

Basic Operation ACCESSING THE MENU TURNING ON Your phone can be customized via the menu. Each function can be accessed by or by pressing the number that scrolling with the Directional Key corresponds with the menu item. 1. Press and hold the END/PWR Key until your display turns on. • If Enter Lock Code appears on the display, enter your 4-digit lock code to unlock your phone. • The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your Mobile Telephone Number. While in the United States or on other CDMA roaming networks, use your phone in Verizon CDMA Mode. Use your phone in Global Mode while outside of the U.S.. You must have a SIM card in order to select GSM and Global Mode. The SIM Card is pre-installed in your phone.

When it is ON, it receives and also sends out radio frequency (RF) signals.
