6. CORRECTING THE DATE
Use the

to each column of the date, then use the

each column. Repeat for each column, to complete the
date.
When entry is complete, press the

7. TIME SETTING
Press the

key to highlight
“TIME,” then press the

KEY7

SELECT

key to en-
ter the time entry mode.
Use the

keys to navigate
to the desired column in the date, then use the

KEY2

keys to select the de-
sired number in each column. Time is entered in 24-
hour format.
When entry is complete, press the

5. CHANGING THE CITY NAME
(To manually enter a city name, connect a PS/2 or USB
Keyboard (not supplied). If you do not wish to enter a new
city name, please skip to step (6) below).
Use the

keys to high-
light the “CITY,” then press the
[
KEY7
(
SELECT

key. Enter the name of the desired city from your key-
board.
When you have completed your input, press the

SELECT

key once more.

Using the GPS Receiver
If you connect the GPS receiver (not supplied) to the COM
jack on the rear panel, your location (Longitude/Latitude)
is set automatically.
Press the
[
KEY6
(
LON/LAT
)]
key. The display will
indicate the Longitude/Latitude of your location.
Press the
[
KEY6
(
GPS
)]
key to re-read the GPS data.
IMPORTANT NOTE
When a full reset is performed on the transceiver,
the DMU-2000’s data will also be reset, if the
DMU-2000’s
[
POWER
]
switch is also on.
