SEARCHING FOR STRONG SIGNALS
USING THE PEAK SEARCH FEATURE
1. Press the

key to display the Marker
setup screen.
2. Press the

key to move the marker
to the highest peak signal frequency. With each press
of the
[
KEY4
(
P.SRCH
)]
key, the Marker will shift to
the strongest signal frequency away from the current
frequency.

2. Repeatedly Press the

TRACE

key to select
the Trace mode of the Spectrum Scope.
The Trace mode selections are shown below.
NORMAL

AVERAGE

PEAK HOLD

NORMAL

NORMAL: The real-time signal strength will be
displayed. Normally, you will want to
use this mode.
AVERAGE: The averaged signal strength will be
displayed.
PEAK HOLD: The signal level will be displayed, with
peak strengths held for a few seconds.
QMB MARKER
If the QMB frequency is within the Spectrum Scope
sweep range, the QMB channel’s frequency will be
displayed on the screen by a white arrow

You may remove the QMB Marker from the screen
via menu item FT-2000/D:
