USING THE MENU MODE
The DMU-2000 can display the Menu Mode List of the transceiver on the display. Press and hold in the FT-2000’s
[
DISPLAY
]
key (or the
[
ENT
]
key of the FT-950 or FT
DX5000) for more than two seconds, white letters will appear in
the tabs at the bottom of the screen to indicate various functions. Then, press the
[
MENU
]
button briefly to bring up the
Menu Mode Screen. Press the
[
MENU
]
button again to close the Menu Mode Screen.

Press this key to download previously-used Menu set-
tings from the CF card to the transceiver.

This is the “up” key for scrolling through the menu
mode list. The items also can be selected by rotating
the Main Tuning Dial knob of the FT-2000/D and FT-

When you have completed making all changes to the menu
setting(s), press the
[
MENU
]
button for 2 seconds to lock
in the changes. If you do not want to keep the changes,
press the
[
MENU
]
button only briefly; the radio will re-
turn to the previous menu status that was in use before
you made the changes.

