FTM-10R Operating Manual
Group Memory
In the FTM-10R, the memory channel data is assigned to the Memory Group
automatically. The GRP bank can be recalled by pressing the front panel’s
[BANDT]/[BANDS] key. You may observe the Memory Group between the Audio Line
and 2 m Amateur Band.
You may assign/delete the memory channel to/from the Memory Group.
1. Recall the memory channel on which you wish to assign to or delete from the
Memory Group.
2. Press and hold the [X] key to enter the Memory Channel Customization mode.
3. Rotate the DIAL knob to select Menu Item “M1 GROUP.”
4. Press the [X] key momentarily, then rotate the DIAL knob to select the desired
selection:
ON: assign the current memory channel to the Memory Group.
OFF: remove the current memory channel from the Memory Group.
5. Press the [SELECT] momentarily to save the new setting and return to the memory
recall mode.
Channel Number Change
You may change the channel number to vacant memory channel manually.
1. Recall the memory channel on which you wish to change the Memory Channel
number.
2. Press and hold the [X] key to enter the Memory Channel Customization mode.
3. Rotate the DIAL knob to select Menu Item “M2 MEM CHNO.”
4. Press the [X] key momentarily, the current memory channel number appears in the
display.
5. Press and hold the [X] key, then rotate the DIAL knob to select desired memory
channel number. If the channel number is blinking, that channel is currently
“occupied” by other frequency data, and you don’t select that channel.
6. Press and hold the [X] key to change the Memory Channel Number.
7. Press the [SELECT] momentarily to save the new setting and return to the memory
recall mode.
Memory Channel Sort
You may sort the Memory Channel number in order low frequency.
1. Recall the memory channel.
2. Press and hold the [X] key to enter the Memory Channel Customization mode.
