3. LCD Display

The main digits on the display may show the operating frequency, memory name, or any

of many parameters during Menu setup.

4. [BANDS] Key

Press this key to switch the operating band as follows:

5. [X] Key

This key function is different by setting of [SELECT] key.

Transceiver/Frequency mode Switch the frequency control between the VFO and

Memory System.

Transceiver/Volume mode Switch the frequency control between the VFO and

Memory System.

Clock/Timer mode* Press this key momentarily to Start/Stop the Stop

Watch timer.

Press and hold this key for two seconds to reset the

Stop Watch timer

*: The Clock/Timer mode is disabled at the factory default. To enable this mode, see

page ??.

6. [BANDT] Key

Press this key to switch the operating band as follows:

7. DIAL Knob

This knob function is different by setting of [SELECT] key.

Transceiver/Frequency mode Select the operating frequency, and also select the

memory channel.

Transceiver/Volume mode Adjust the audio volume level. Clockwise rotation

increases the volume level.
