5.3.1. Alignment
The radio is set to receive at Test Channel 1 and the Audio Frequency volume is
changed by the software to an adequate level for receiver testing. After setting up the
analyzer according to Table 5-7, the radio’s first squelch point is sampled repeatedly,
averaged, and the result is programmed into the radio as the new squelch point softpot.
This process is repeated for each row in Table 5-7.
