DXP Plus Programming Instructions

Connecting The PC To The DXP Plus
Connect the serial data port of the
PC
to the
maintenance
port of the
DXP
Plus
central processor (CPU)
board. The maintenance port is a dedicated serial data port reserved exclusively for system
programming.
You can connect the PC remotely to the DXP
Plus
using a modem and a telephone line. The DXP
Phs
includes its own modem that someone on site can connect between
the CPU
board’s
modem
port
and an
outside telephone line.
NOTE: Do not perform a system software upgrade through a modem connection.
